Mouni Roy performs her own stunts in upcoming horror-comedy 'The Bhootnii'

Mouni Roy will play the nerve-chilling ghost named ‘Mohabbat’, in the upcoming horror action-comedy "The Bhootnii".  Sharing a thrilling behind-the-scenes detail, Mouni revealed that she has performed all her stunts for "The Bhootnii" herself without any body double. Speaking about the same, the diva revealed, "I have performed all my stunts myself in the film. I am thankfully trained and have become used to wearing harnesses and doing stunts, thanks to my previous work. So it was a rather easy process. I think stunts are a form of choreography and I consider myself a decent dancer and a quick learner. And, shooting for 2 full seasons of a supernatural TV show (Naagin) and an entire fantasy fiction film (Brahmastra) gave me all the training needed for The Bhootnii. Not to mention, the film had an amazing stunt team, and my co-stars were great.” The highly-awaited drama enjoys a unique star cast, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan. Sanjay Dutt, who will essay the role of a ghostbuster revealed what drew him towards the character. The 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.' actor disclosed, “I love comedies. The Bhootnii is a film that is a good mix of horror and comedy. In fact, horror comedy is one of the toughest genres to crack. But, when I heard the script, I felt that it had the potential to entertain the audience. I was attracted to my role. I am playing a ghostbuster baba for the first time. I had a lot of fun while playing this character, which has mass appeal.” Produced under the banner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment Production by Deepak Mukut, Sanjay Dutt, Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt, the project is being presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment in collaboration with Three Dimension Motion Pictures. "The Bhootnii" is slated to reach the audience on 18th April 2025.

Sonu Sood shares powerful message on road safety after wife Sonali's accident

Days after Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali, met with an accident, the Fateh star hopped on social media to relay an important message highlighting the importance of road safety. Sonu shared a video emphasising the use of seat belts, even for passengers sitting in the back of the car.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Sonu Sood (@sonu_sood) Sonu Sood’s powerful message on road safety  In the video, Sonu can be seen saying, "There is a very important message. Last week, there was a very big accident in Nagpur, in which my wife, her nephew, and her sister were inside the car. The whole world has seen the condition of the car. You know that if anything saved them, it was the seat belt." Sonu Sood talks about his wife’s road accident Sood pointed out the common practice of not wearing a seat belt while sitting in the back of the car. He recalled the day of the accident and said that the crash occurred minutes after his wife, Sonali, asked his sister-in-law, Sunita, to wear the seat belt, which eventually saved them. He further continued and added, "Especially those who sit in the back, they don't wear seat belts. That day, when Sunita was also sitting in the car, my wife, who was there, asked her to wear the seat belt immediately. She wore the seat belt, and the accident happened after a minute. And all three were safe because they wore the seat belt." ‘Please wear seat belt’ While talking about how 99 out of 100 people never wear seat belts when they sit in the back, he urged people to be more careful and shared, “They feel that wearing the seat belt is only the responsibility of the person in front. I request all of you not to sit in the car without the seat belt. Many drivers just put on a seat belt in front for effect. Seat belts never clip. And they feel that they have to save themselves from the police, so it is important to show the seat belt in front. Believe me, if you and your family have something attached—that seat belt—please wear it.” He concluded his message by saying, "Whoever is sitting in the back, if you don't have a seat belt, you don't have a family. All the best, safe travels."

Veteran actor Jeetendra

Legendary actor Jeetendra's top 5 tracks that’ll get you grooving

Veteran actor Jeetendra has been termed the Jumping Jack of Bollywood—and rightfully so. In his years-long career, the actor has given us songs that still feel as fresh as the day we first heard them. His songs make us hit the dance floor from the very first beat. Jeetendra not only made films, but he also ruled the silver screen—especially in the ’70s and ’80s—with his charm. His signature style included tight white pants, sweaters, and, of course—those iconic dance steps. Today, on Jeetendra's birthday, here's looking at five of his top dance numbers: Mast Baharon Ka Main Aashiq: From the 1967 film Farz, this song gave Jeetendra the much-awaited breakthrough. In this upbeat, peppy track, he danced with full energy, captivating every heart—leading to the birth of his iconic style that included tight pants and sweaters. The track starred Babita opposite him, and his acrobatic dance moves earned him the nickname Jumping Jack. Dhal Gaya Din: Who doesn't remember that badminton game between Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar? When this song was released, it became the benchmark—and a lesson—on how to impress someone. From the 1970 film Humjoli, this song still evokes a sense of nostalgia for every ’70s kid who experienced their first crushes and love during those times. Naino Mein Sapna: No, we aren’t going to upset you by skipping this classic dance number—yet another from Himmatwala. Also sung by Bappi Lahiri, it went on to become a chartbuster of its time.  One of the most iconic dance duets of the ’80s, it featured colourful props, coordinated outfits, and killer moves. The giant matkas (pots) in the background became a visual trademark. This song set the template for Jeetendra-Sridevi hits. Taki O Taki: This one has to be on the top of the list. Jeetendra and Sridevi's chemistry in this song made it a blockbuster hit. With loud costumes, peppy beats, and stylish dance moves, the duo gave us one of the biggest songs of all time. Sung by the legendary Bappi Lahiri, this track went on to become Jeetendra’s most iconic hit. Chadti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani: This track is pure retro magic and still sizzles with its boldness. The song features Aruna Irani in a glamorous, cabaret-inspired avatar, while Jeetendra plays the charming onlooker caught in her magnetic pull. Together, Aruna’s bold performance and Jeetendra’s smooth presence made this song an unforgettable moment in ’70s cinema.

Kapkapii poster

Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade's film ‘Kapkapiii' gets a release date

The upcoming horror-comedy Kapkapiii, featuring Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, is all set to hit theatres on 23rd May. Directed by the late filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan — known for cult comedies like Kya Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money — the film promises to deliver spine-chilling moments wrapped in rib-tickling humour. About Kapkapiii Kapkapiii also stars Sonia Rathee, Siddhi Idnani, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari, Dinkar Sharma, and Abishek Kumar. The film is produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the banner of Bravo Entertainment and is presented by Zee Studios. The screenplay is penned by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi. Producer Jayesh Patel stated, “Sangeeth ji had already given us the completed first cut of the film, so what you’ll see on screen is entirely his vision. And I feel he is always with us, supporting and guiding. After his untimely demise, it became more than just a film — it became a collective promise to finish what he started. Kapkapiii is not your typical horror-comedy — it’s wild, unfiltered, and rooted in characters that feel hilariously familiar. It plays with fear the way a prankster plays with a flashlight in the dark — never predictable, always a little wicked.” Shreyas and Tusshar's reunion Speaking about the film, actor Shreyas Talpade shared, “As the name suggests, Kapkapiii is about goosebumps — the kind you get just before the fear fully kicks in. It’s one of the best horror comedies by Sangeeth Sivan sir. I miss him dearly. He should’ve been here with us today to witness the release of the film he was so passionate about. He was like a father figure to me, with a terrific sense of filmmaking.” Tusshar Kapoor also reflected on his experience, saying, “Kapkapiii has a very realistic setting, and the characters are extremely relatable. The horror element revolves around a Ouija board, something that hasn’t been explored much in Hindi cinema. Sangeeth ji gave his actors the freedom to improvise within the framework of the script, which added depth and authenticity to our performances. For me, it was a nostalgic reunion after almost 20 years since Kyaa Kool Hain Hum — a true homecoming.”
