This is a problem I have been struggling with for a while now and can’t think of a solution because it involves my best friend. She and I were in love with the same guy, who liked her more and asked her to go out with him. She agreed, and we spoke about it because she didn’t want me to be upset. I was genuinely happy for her, but then found out a while ago that he has been dating another woman as well. I told her about this, and she lost her temper, accusing me of making up stories to ruin her relationship. I had no proof so I couldn’t counter her. She also told him what I had said. Now, they both refuse to speak to me, and my friend calls me a traitor. I am heartbroken because this is the opposite of what I wanted. I wanted to protect her because she is my best friend and have lost her in the bargain. How can I fix this situation and get her back into my life?
You can write her an explanation that involves where and how you found out about her boyfriend. If you don’t have proof, you can point to a source of that story. Whether she chooses to believe you or not depends upon how much she trusts her boyfriend. It takes time for people to get to know each other better, and her opinion of him may change with time. Until she is ready to communicate with you and be more receptive to your side of the story, I suggest you wait and allow her to get to that point. If she values your friendship as much as you do, there will come a time when she begins to evaluate her priorities and reaches out.

Is it okay for me to end a relationship if my girlfriend doesn’t want to get physical?
That is between the two of you. As an adult, choosing to be physical or not is her prerogative.
