Divya Punjabi, a writer, took to dog grooming when she realised she wanted to work with animals in some capacity.  What most people don’t realise about grooming, she says, is that it requires the groomer to make the dog comfortable, which she ensures through positive reinforcement. “I take all aspects into account, such as clipping nails, de-matting, getting rid of fleas and tics, and working with organic shampoos instead of chemical ones. This helps ensure the overall health and hygiene of the dog while grooming, which needs to be taken care of once in two weeks, depending on the needs of the dog,” she says.

RECOMMENDED BY: Varun Nayar, pet parent “Divya gave Kyra, my female indie, a bath in one of her initial training days, and I was so suprised to see Kyra take to her so fast. Divya is gentle and compassionate, and thorough. Kyra left smelling good and feeling happy.”
