India shuttler HS Prannoy settled for bronze medal on Saturday. The World No. 9 couldn’t continue his fine form and went down 21-18, 13-21, 14-21 to Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the semi-finals of the BWF World Championships in Denmark on Saturday.

On Friday, he had registered a stunning victory over two-time defending champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the quarter-finals. Prannoy expressed his delight, saying his determination has finally paved off and he has a world medal now.
