Chamonix for Byculla Club Trophy

Only four runners have accepted to run over the gruelling trip (2,800m) of the Byculla Club Trophy, the feature event of Saturday's eight-race card at the Mahalaxmi racetrack. Chamonix, a five-year-old mare trained by Pesi Shroff, who attempted to do too much too late in her last run, should relish the longer trip when racing against older horses. She will be ridden by PS Chouhan, and is expected to win the feature event from Caprisca. First race at 2.30 pm.
