Olympian Ashok Kumar, the son of hockey legend Dhyanchand, was injured when the motorcycle he was travelling on was hit by a Maruti car here on Saturday.
Ashok was accompanied byu00a0Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy goalkeeper Amit Rathore who also sustained injuries in the crash that took place near Bhopal’s Sultania Hospital.
While Kumar suffered serious leg injuries, Rathore received minor injuries on his leg, a statement released by the MP Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare said.
