Left-arm spinner and batter Ramjani said at a function in Mumbai on Thursday that the firm and he “resonated upon our stories of triumph and disaster and treating them the same.” Ramjani, according to a press release, faced personal challenges, such as the loss of his father before going on to play international cricket for Uganda.
The T20 World Cup will be held in West Indies and America from June 2 to 29. West Indies (June 9) and New Zealand (June 15) are the other top teams which Uganda will face in the tournament. They will be up against Papua New Guinea on June 6. Ramjani played a good hand in Uganda’s qualification for the T20 World Cup and opened the bowling to good effect in the African Games in March.
