Both the teams will play their seventh clash of the ICC World Cup 2023. The 'Green Shirts' are in the seventh spot in the points table with four points, whereas, the 'Bengal Tigers' are in the ninth position with two points.
Bangladesh will clash with Pakistan after facing five continuous defeats and Pakistan have lost their last four matches. They will definitely need to come up with new plans to secure a win in today's match.

Both the teams have clashed with each other in 38 ODI matches out of which the 'Green Shirts' have come out victorious on 33 occasions and the 'Bengal Tigers' have won just five matches against them. Pakistan clearly have the chance to dominate over Bangladesh today.
Squads:
Pakistan: Babar Azam (c), Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Wasim.

It is to be seen if Pakistan's Hasan Ali who missed the match against South Africa due to illness will play in today's match. India's neighbours felt the absence of Ali in their clash against the Proteas. They will heavily rely on their skipper Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan to deliver performances against Bangladesh. Ali himself was the replacement player for young speedster Naseem Shah.
Things are not looking good for Pakistan. Their chances to qualify for the semi finals of the ICC World Cup 2023 are uncertain after losing the four matches out of the last five games they have played.
