The shocking terror incident led to reduction of the tourist count in the state of J&K. With the rise in the pilgrims, over 5,000 Palkiwals and Ponywalas have resumed their vital services at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.

Jammu & Kashmir: Helicopter services resume at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan

Helicopter services from Katra to the Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan have officially resumed after a temporary halt caused by recent India-Pakistan tensions. With operations at Jammu Airport now back on track and civilian flights running smoothly, heli services to the holy shrine have also restarted. Pilgrims can now book helicopter rides both online and directly at on-ground counters. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has ensured that all facilities are fully functional, aiming to provide a seamless and safe experience for devotees.
