Butch Wilmore was the last to exit the capsule, completing their safe return. Cheers echoed as the astronauts were safely out of the Dragon. The splashdown happened at 3:27 AM IST, bringing excitement to the officials monitoring the rescue operation. This was necessary because Williams and Wilmore had stayed longer than planned in space due to technical issues with Boeing’s new Starliner crew capsule. Elon Musk congratulated both the SpaceX and NASA teams for another successful and safe astronaut return! Back in Sunita Williams’ native village of Jhulasan, people celebrated her safe return with prayers and an aarti ceremony. Massive bombings, explosions were heard near the Gaza border on Oct 27 after Israel stepped up its operations. Meanwhile, a new visual emerged from Gaza which showed Israeli soldiers entering Gaza strip. Armed soldiers, rolling tanks could be seen launching its ground operation inside Gaza. Ground troops struck Hamas outpost in the northern area of Gaza strip, including anti-tank missile launching cells and posts. The tunnels under the cramped enclave are a prime objective for Israel as it expands a four-day-old ground offensive. Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the string of anti-Jewish protests by pro-Palestinians held across the world gained a major flash point on October 29. Scores of Pro-Palestinians carried Palestinian flag and chanted religious slogans at Dagestan Airport in Russia. Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the IDF with the help of the Israel security agency, Shin Bet eliminated commander of Nukhba force of Hamas on Oct 15. The commander, identified as killed Billal Al Kedra, belonged to the Nukhba force in the South Khan Yunis battalion of Hamas. Billal Al Kedra was responsible for the murderous raid in Kibbutz Nirim and Nir Oz, according to Israel. As Israel intensifies ‘Operation Iron Swords’ against Hamas, two commanders of the terrorist group were killed by fierce strikes of Israeli Air Force jets within a day. “Based on precise IDF and ISA intelligence, IAF aircraft killed Ali Qadi, a company commander of the Hamas "Nukhba" commando force, who led the terror attack in Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip last weekend,” informed Israeli Air Force. Residents of Khan Younis used their hands to search through the rubble of their destroyed homes on October 14, following an Israeli airstrike overnight. “This is a genocide, not a war, it's genocide. And it's an attempt to displace the people of the Gaza Strip, but this will not happen,” said a Khan Younis resident, whose home was damaged in the strike. The Israeli military said on Saturday it had seen a "significant movement" of Palestinian civilians moving south, a day after it ordered Gaza City residents to flee, as Israel's prime minister promised further retaliation for Hamas' rampage last week. Israel has vowed to annihilate Hamas for the attack a week ago, in which its fighters killed 1,300 Israelis, mainly civilians, and seized scores of hostages. Israel has since put the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, home to 2.3 million Palestinians, under a total siege and bombarded it with unprecedented air strikes. Gaza authorities say 1,900 people have died.
