President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday greeted citizens on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha and asked all to take a pledge to work towards spreading mutual brotherhood and harmony in the society. Eid-ul-Adha is the holy festival of love and sacrifice, the president said. Eid-al-Adha, also known as the ‘Festival of Sacrifice’, holds significant religious and cultural importance for Muslims worldwide. It falls on the 10th day of the last month of the Islamic calendar. Meanwhile, Democratic Progressive Chief Ghulam Nabi Azad was seen offering Namaz on Eid al-Adha in Delhi.
