CM Fadnavis at Maha Cabinet Expansion, Announces Minister performance audit

On December 15, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the swearing-in ceremony for the expansion of the Maharashtra Cabinet. The Mahayuti Alliance, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), achieved a significant victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, securing 230 out of 288 seats. In contrast, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi won only 46 seats. Following the cabinet expansion, CM Fadnavis announced that a performance audit will be conducted for all ministers. He explained that if a minister is found to be underperforming or not doing their job correctly, the government will reconsider their position. Watch the video for more information

The preparations are in full swing at Mumbai's Azad Maidan for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Maharashtra Cabinet. Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP will take oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time. The event, set for December 5, will see the formation of the Mahayuti government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to attend the ceremony, and several other prominent leaders have already arrived in Mumbai for the event. Maharashtra CM-designate Devendra Fadnavis was joined by his wife, Amruta Fadnavis, at the venue. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, along with his wife Anjali, and Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla are among the key attendees.
