On Tuesday, a speeding autorickshaw crashed into a stalled truck here, resulting in three fatalities and five injuries, according to authorities. Under the jurisdiction of the Naraini police station, the accident happened close to Jamwara village.


According to Circle Officer Ambuja Trivedi of Naraini, the driver of the fast autorickshaw, which was travelling from Kartal town to Naraini, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a truck that was parked by the side of the road.


Munnu Biwi, 70, Hajra, 45, and Noor Biwi, 60, were the three female passengers who perished in the collision. There were five critical injuries among the passengers. He added that Munnu Biwi and Hajra passed away instantly. The CO stated that the injured are receiving care and that the bodies have been transferred for post-mortem investigation.


The autorickshaw and the truck have been impounded and an investigation has been launched into the incident, Trivedi said. Station House Officer, Naraini, Suresh Kumar Saini said Munnu Biwi and Hajra were residents of Madhya Pradesh's Panna district while Noor Biwi was a local. The three were relatives.
