Around 30-35 flamingos have been found dead at different locations in Ghatkopar’s Laxmi Nagar area. According to the Pantnagar police, the incident took place at around 9 pm on May 20.

“Around 30 flamingos were found dead in Laxmi Nagar area and Andheri Link Road. Prima facie we suspect that the group of flamingos might have collided with the airplane in the sky. We had called forest officials and they will conduct a postmortem on the flamingo’s. We are investigating the matter,” said a police officer.
