Nothing makes a bibliophile happier than the sight of piled up books. If you are distressed by the rising price of books, and vanishing libraries in the city, Bookchor.com’s LockTheBox Reloaded might just be for you. The one-of-a-kind book sale invites readers to pay for a box and take home as many books as they can pack in it.

Founder, Vidyut Sharma, explains, “Readers can choose from over 10 lakh books across genres. The collection will also be replenished daily.” The boxes are categorised in three sizes named after Greek mythological heroes, Odysseus, Perseus and Hercules — in order of increasing capacity and prices. There are no limitations to genre, author or language. The only condition, Sharma adds, is that the reader should be able to close the lid of the box after filling it. In addition, people can also choose to sell their old books by logging on to the Dump app by the platform and sharing details of the books they wish to sell.

Till: August 6; 11 am to 10 pm
At: Infiniti Mall, Malad West
Call: Rs 1,199 (Odysseus box); Rs 1,999 (Perseus box); Rs 2,999 (Hercules box)
