Mumbai is a melting pot of cultures, cuisines and citizens. But among them all, the original inhabitants of these islands continue to nurture their own distinct culture coloured by traditional cuisine and flavours. Today, a unique walk through the neighbourhood of Worli Koliwada will seek to explore the traditional cuisine, culture and hospitality of the Kolis. Organised by The Heritage Project, the food walk aims to empower and inspire the local women through food-related initiatives to help sustain them.
