Product designer Sebastien Garcin, who has created speakers from car tyres and tables from fan grills, will take you through the process of visualising, designing and then creating clean, upcycled furniture for your home.

The workshop will be conducted over three days and participants are required to carry their laptop and their junk muse.

3D printing to your rescue
This Saturday, Anna Warrington, director, Forum for the Future India, will conduct a talk about putting 3D printing to work for people and the planet. Last year, The Additive Design Challenge brought together some of the leading European additive (3D printing) and digital manufacturing experts to mentor teams of designers.

Together, they have unveiled concepts that use modern tools such as 3D printers to solve problems like access to energy and nutrition. In this session, Warrington will share some of the products from the first challenge and discuss how to bring this experience to India.
