Koffee With Karan 8: Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are the next guests of Karan Johar's show . They talk about their days shooting MNIK and also engage in banter with the host

After Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar's other two students-Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan- are set to grace the couch in the upcoming episode of the much loved talk show 'Koffee With Karan'. Sidharth and Varun had appeared together on the show after 'Student Of The Year' released. Back then, they were accompanied by their co-star Alia Bhatt. A decade later the two have progressed in their careers and are also married men.
Introducing Varun and Sidharth, Karan said that they are ideal husband in the eyes of the world but on the show they are just two Kens without their Barbies. Varun Dhawan got married to his childhood love Natasha Dalal in 2021, while Sidharth got married to actress Kiara Advani in February this year.

On Monday, Karan Johar dropped the first promo of the upcoming episode featuring Varun and Sidharth. In the promo, Karan is seen recalling the days when Varun and Sidharth served as assistant directors for his film 'My Name Is Khan'. He recalled how the two were selling Shah Rukh Khan's pictures and posing with girls during their shoot at UCLA in Los Angeles.
Right at the beginning Varun asks Karan to make sure that their relationships stay intact even after the episode. After Deepika and Ranveer's opening episode, many netizens accused Karan of causing rift in relationships. Varun seems to be taking a dig at this perception around Karan and his show.
Karan also recalled the duo having steamy affairs with the costume department. Reacting to this, Varun says, "In my dad's film there is a character called Shaadiram ghar jode, he is Karan Johar ghar tode."

They also engage in a question answer round where Varun is seen asking Karan 'How do you get Salman Khan to sign a film?'
Further Karan asks Varun what would his automated message say to his trolls. "I think you have confused me with some who gives a f***," tad came the reply.
Finally, there is some butt talk when Karan asks about the one thing Varun has that Sidharth does not and the latter replies, "A big ass.". "A bubble butt," says Karan to which Varun chimes in "Smooth as velvet".
