Bihar’s then chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav wanted the roads in the state to be as smooth as Hema Malini’s cheeks. Now, Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha wants the streets in his state to be as smooth as Katrina Kaif’s cheeks. Initially, Gudha took Hema Malini’s name but later did a rethink. While addressing a rally in Jhunjhunu district, he asked who is the leading star today. The crowd chorused, “Katrina Kaif.” Kat is said to be getting hitched to Vicky Kaushal next month in Rajasthan. It looks like it will be a smooth ride for her on way to the destination wedding resort.
The roast that burnt the Jonas Brothers
Priyanka Chopra, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas took turns to poke fun at their husband Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, respectively on Jonas Brothers Family Roast. PeeCee did not leave any opportunity to take potshots at singer hubby on the Kenan Thompson-hosted Netflix show, which dropped on Tuesday. “I’m here to roast my husband and his brothers... whose names I can never remember,” began Chopra. She added, “I’m from India, a country rich in culture, music, entertainment, so clearly the Jonas Brothers didn’t make it over there.” About her 10-year age gap with Nick, she quipped, “There are many ’90s pop culture references he doesn’t understand, and I have to explain them to him. We teach each other things. He showed me how to use TikTok. I showed him what a successful acting career looks like.’’ Priyanka and Nick are the only couple in the Jonas family without a kid. “We are expecting,” she exclaimed, only to add “to get drunk tonight and sleep in tomorrow!” She informed that she was the most popular Jonas on Instagram as her followers outnumber the Jonas Brothers’ followers put together. PeeCee further added, “We’re both totally, wholly obsessed with Nick Jonas. I wouldn’t want to marry anyone else unless Chris Hemsworth suddenly became single.”
