In the video titled 'Sachin v/s Lata Civil War', Tanmay takes jibes at the two veterans saying Mangeshkar's face looks like someone has kept her under water for eight days. He has also gone to the extent of addressing Mangeshkar directly while saying that Jon Snow (a 'Game Of Thrones' character) died and so should she. The 'face-swapped' Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar are also seen arguing over whether Virat Kohli is better than the Master Blaster.

His 'joke' backfired and he found himself at the receiving end of the Twitterati, including Bollywood celebs.

The Shiv Sena and BJP have demanded action against AIB and comedian Tanmay Bhat for the video. The Sena asked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take stringent action against AIB and Bhat for allegedly seeking to vitiate social harmony through videos on Mangeshkar and Tendulkar.
The MNS had also earlier said it will lodge an FIR against Tanmay and demanded that the video uploaded by him be removed immediately. (Read more)
