Such a mindset is key to overcome any hurdle as exemplified by self-made social entrepreneur and business leader Nikhil Singh.Having started his career from scratch, Nikhil Singh is nothing short of a story to tell.A hard and intense struggle lived throughout a vision a valour, consequently resulting in one of the most successful social entrepreneur. A vision of growth was always pushing him to do unthinkable, to achieve the unimaginable and all this started very early in his life.Hailing,from a middle class family, Nikhil’s parents did whatever best they could do for him. His father an ex-cop worked in night shifts to provide him all the comforts he could afford while his mother, acted as a mentor to instil in him the strong values of kindness, courage & passion. He did not join any highly riveted institutions then. Instead he ended up pursuing graduation in Information Technology from Ghaziabad.
While like many young Indians he would have contemplated settling in USA but his love for India & serving the society made him start all new journey as Social Entrepreneur. Nikhil’s career journey is a tale of extra ordinary, started as a banker he launched his own NBFC Arnika, then switching into a social entrepreneur and launched his Trust, Sai Seva Sansthan. Wherein he had to set up everything from the scratch, to make a World class team, to make a good business case for the team and employees to get excited about along with finally taking the idea to new realty of Serving the society and revenue growth and innovation. With a start belief that every business is a people’s business and people connect through multiple channels, he realized that for the development of an individual in a corporate scenario, he had coached his teams to expand their experience in setting up new lines of business and scaling them for new growth trajectories.

Alternatively it meant that they had to learn a lot of things of the past and embrace an entirely new path of learning. These accomplishments were possible only because of his ability to work through nuances & causing the change in the course of business rather than the incremental change. Coupled with his ability to always use technology as the major strategic business enabler,he kept climbing up the success ladder. As a Social activist Nikhil & his trust Sai Seva Sansthan Trust has made a significant contribution to the fields of child education, health and welfare. Not everyone is privileged enough to possess all that is required to lead a normal human life. A very large section of our society is in a situation where it needs active support from empathetic human beings.
Concerted efforts from organizations and individuals are required to help out these less fortunate people.Nikhil Singh and his Sai Seva Sansthan Trust present an excellent example of a philanthropic heart creating a robust system to reach out to the needy and bring positive changes in their lives. Overwhelmed with the philanthropic desire to serve the needy, Nikhil says that we need to take care of the people who are devoid of opportunities, light and shine which many of us enjoy today. “Everyone should help others in any way possible. His purpose to help the less fortunate has inspired him to contribute most of his earnings to charities in India. He is actively supported by his friends and loved ones, and their kind gestures are multitudes of stepping stone to raise funds for his mission.
To replace tears with smiles, pain with purpose, and despair with Joy. He does it all. Nikhil would visit orphanages, old age homes, shelters of the poor and rescue homes to help the organizations running these facilities. A big Sports enthusiast, He recently met UP Sports minister Girish Yadav to discuss how he & his Organisation can contribute towards making the State a Sports hub.
A Global citizen, in essence, Nikhil Says, “one of the truest values in a person is vulnerability. The acceptance of high risk at various stages and a clear focus only on solutions have kept me going”. He truly beliefs that his honesty towards life and his willingness to embrace new choices, helps him derive exceptional performances from simple teams. Despite touching numerous lives, Nikhil prefers to remain anonymous. He pleads, “I love my country. I love the great heritage and culture my country. I love the fresh air of the Indian villages. But I also know that there’s poverty, hunger, exploitation, slums, and homeless people. All this makes me tell myself let-me-do-something.”Clearly, Nikhil Singh’s journey is an eventful one but he feels that this is just the beginning of it.
