Theft at Salman Khan's sister Aprita's home, goods worth over Rs 3L stolen

Cash and valuables worth Rs 3.25 lakh were stolen from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan-Sharma’s house, Pacific Heights in Bandra, according to media reports

Cash and valuables worth Rs 3.25 lakh were stolen from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan-Sharma’s house, Pacific Heights, in Bandra (W), a Mumbai Mirror report stated.


Further reports claimed that while cash worth Rs 2.25 lakh was stolen, a gold coin and designer clothes were also missing.

It is being said that Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma came to know of the theft on Sunday, after they returned from a holiday.

An officer from Khar police station told Mumbai Mirror that they are on the lookout for a maid named Aafsa, who was working for the family. The maid has been missing since July 30, and it is being suspected that she may be involved in the crime.

A case has been registered at the police station under 381of the Indian Penal Code Section (theft by clerk or servant of property in possession of employer).

Earlier, in January this year, three men broke into a bike shop in the wee hours at Pali Hill in Bandra. The shop is owned by Akshai Varde, actress Sameera Reddy’s husband. In the past, actresses’ Sonam Kapoor, Kajol and filmmaker Satish Kaushik have been victims of theft
