Witness Ustad Zakir Hussain performing as a tribute to another Tabla Maestro, Ustad Shafaat Ahmed Khan, at a concert, tomorrow
Padma Shri Ustad Shafaat Ahmed Khan, a noted Tabla master has swayed music and rhythm lovers across the globe with his magic performances for many years and now to keep the memory of this amazing musician alive, Pancham Nishad Creatives has organised a concert for the maestro, titled A Tribute to Shafaat Ahmed Khan.

The first session of the concert will commence with a vocal recital by Aparna Kelkar followed by a performance by Ustad Zakir Hussain in the second half. The accompanying artistes would be Ajinkya Joshi (Tabla), Milind Kulkarni (Harmonium) and Ajay Joglekar (Harmonium).
“This tribute is a small attempt on our part to honour the man and the musician for his exceptional contribution to the world of Indian music,” says Shashi Vyas, Director, Pancham Nishad Creatives.
