Model Vaibhav Talwar who has many ads to his credit, might not have wowed us with his latest film, but we certianly noticed his super physique. He shares his fitness regime with CS:
Fit hai, toh hit hai
Staying fit has always been an important part of my life even before I entered the world of modelling. As a student, I regularly practised martial arts, which helped me stay fit and flexible. I did karate for five years and taekwondo for two years. Acting is a physically demanding job so fitness is not only a professional requirement, but also a way of life.
Gym jam
I visit the gym five times a week. Weights and cardio exercises form my regular routine. I do weights daily and cardio twice a week. Post my workout, I head for a 15-20 minutes swim. It helps in building flexibility and relaxes the heart rate.
Jazz up
I am also very fond of dancing. It is great form of cardio workout. I learn jazz dancing under Ashley Lobo and go for classes thrice a week. I am learning this form of dancing since the last year-and-a-half. So I don't have to worry too much about my cardio regime in the gym, because I make it up by dancing.
Diet basics
I start my day with a glass of vegetable juice followed by some papaya, porridge and eggs. My lunch consists of one bajre ki roti, vegetables, dal and dahi. In the evening, I have a protein shake along with a fist full of nuts. Dinner is either a portion of fish or chicken with a roti along with vegetables followed by some ice cream once in a while.I believe that giving into temptations once or twice a week works wonderfully in keeping your happiness quotient high.
