A clash occurred between Patna Police and supporters of Prashant Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraaj, on January 6. Prashant Kishor had been on an indefinite hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan when he was arrested by the police. His supporters reported that during the arrest, Kishor's glasses were thrown. One of the supporters said, "I tried to pick up his glasses, but I got injured, and the police abused me. We don't know where Prashant Kishor has been taken." The situation escalated as the police and supporters clashed, with the supporters expressing confusion and frustration about his arrest and whereabouts.
