In the second Youth ODI against India U-19, England U-19 came victorious by one wicket. Batting first, India captain Ayush Mhatre departed on a duck. Fellow opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 45 runs off 34 deliveries, including five boundaries and three maximums.

Shouldering Suryvanshi was Vihaam Malhotra, who scored 49 runs in 68 balls, including six boundaries. Kanishk Chouhan and Rahul Kumar were the other two players who registered scores of 40s.

Facing 47 balls, Rahul accumulated 47 runs with the help of six boundaries and a maximum. On the other hand, facing 40 balls, Chouhan scored 45 runs, including six boundaries. Abhigyan Kundu and Maulyarajsinh Chavda registered the scores of 32 and 22 runs, respectively. Riding on these knocks, India posted a total of 290 runs.

England's Alex French claimed four wickets by conceding 71 runs in 10 overs. Jack Home and Alex Green registered three wickets each to their names.

England's chase began on a shaky note, losing opener Ben Dawkins early to Yudhajit Guha. Ben Mayes chipped in with a brisk 27 before falling to Ambrish, and Isaac Mohammed soon followed, caught low at slip again off Ambrish to leave England at 47/3 in the 12th over.

While chasing a target of 291 runs, England's skipper Thomas Rew played a remarkable knock of 131 runs off just 89 balls. His knock included 16 boundaries and six maximums. Along with him, Rocky Flintoff smashed 39 runs off 68 balls by smashing four boundaries. Ben Mayes' 27 run-knock and later Sebastian Morgan's unbeaten knock of 20 runs helped the side chase the target for the loss of nine wickets.

RS Ambrish was the top bowler for India as he bagged four wickets for 80 runs in 10 overs. Henil Patel, Yudhajit Guha registered two wickets each to their names, followed by Kanishk Chouhan with one wicket.

The lower order struggled, Moores, Albert, and Home all fell quickly, with Ambrish and Patel chipping away. Green and Morgan, however, played crucial cameos under pressure. Morgan's hook shot for six off Guha was a game-changer, and despite Green's wicket, Morgan held his nerve to finish it off in style.
