Put into bat, the Lankans looked like fish out of water as India restricted them to 59 for nine. Only captain Vishmi Gunaratne (25) and Umaya Ratnayake (13) managed to get into double figures. Leg-spinner Parshavi Chopra (4-5) bamboozled them and later picked up the player of the match award. Left-arm orthodox spinner Mannat Kashyap claimed two wickets while right-arm medium pacer Titas Sadhu and off-spinner Archana Devi chipped in with a wicket each.
