Launches Symbi FM where Symbiosis students will run their own show
Radio One 94.3 rocked yesterday afternoon when it joined hands with Symbiosis International University to launch an advanced certificate course in radio management. Professor Ujjwal Kumar Chowdhury kicked off the launch by saying, "No more talks, no more lectures. It's time to launch the unique, first-time primary radio management course. This is history in the making."
Symbi FM
Radio One 94.3 added another feather in its cap with the launch of Symbi FM. Students of Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication will run their own show on Radio One from September 21 between 4 pm and 5 pm every weekday. Vineet Singh Hukmani, MD, Radio One, said, "Students will get to know not only about programming, but marketing and sales too." Added Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, director, Symbiosis Society, "I'm as excited as the students here, as the campus will come alive with Symbi FM."
Sabina Sanghvi, station head, Radio One, Pune, handed the headphones to the first student who registered, Inayat Dhanda.
