According to the complainant, the incident occurred on July 1. “I was in my office when around six people entered, saying that they were from the CBI. Most of them were dressed in khaki pants, and one was armed with a pistol. They told me to come with them and also took the cash, which I had kept in my office,” the complainant shared on condition of anonymity. He was taken in a Scorpio, where he was beaten up. “When we reached Navi Mumbai, I was pushed out of the car.”  He decided against reporting the incident, because he was afraid for his life.
