After a man sexually harassed a woman travelling in the ladies compartment of a Borivli–Dadar local, a biker allegedly harassed three women under broad daylight of Mumbai's posh Hiranandani Gardens.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, a biker allegedly masturbated at three women in a marketplace at Powai on Thursday afternoon. Not only did the pervert flash the women, but also asked how they felt, passed lewd comments and fled thereafter. Nevertheless, after the incident grabbed attention on social media, the Mumbai police took note and a team of senior police officials were sent to the victims' respective houses for recording statements.

Quoting the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police, zone X, ND Reddy told the website, "The man was on a bike. He flashed them and before leaving, passed a lewd comment. We have sent a police inspector and a female official to record their statements. We shall register an First Information Report (FIR) under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. We are also checking CCTV footage in the area to identify the accused."
Powai police stated that the shocking act took place near Hiranandani Galleria.
Police have booked the unidentified duo under sections 354 D (stalking) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC. Police are going through the footage of CCTVs installed in the area to trace the duo.
