The vehicle, en route from Dindoshi to Sewree Bus Station at 6.30 am on Friday, was involved in an accident when a private car suddenly emerged from the service road in front of it. As a result, the driver lost control, and the bus collided with the truck, damaging the front portion of the bus

Six people suffered injuries after a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus collided with a stationary truck parked on the left side of the road outside Vanrai Police Station in Mumbai.   

The vehicle, which was en route from Dindoshi to Sewree Bus Station at 6.30 am on Friday when a private car suddenly emerged from the service road in front of it. As a result, the driver lost control, and the bus collided with the truck, damaging the front portion of the bus.


The bus driver and conducted as well as six passengers suffered injuries in the incident. The injured passengers have been identified as Ashraf Sahid Husen 66; Sitaram Gaikwad, 60; Sudhakar Rewale, 57; Bharti Mandavkar, 56; Amit Yadav, 35, and Pochiya Naresh Kanpochi, 30.



The injured have been taken to the trauma care hospital for initial treatment.
