The Bhayanderpada Flyover on Ghodbunder Road in Thane district of Maharashtra was inaugurated on Wednesday by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, officials said.

The new flyover is being seen as a major solution to Thane’s growing traffic issues, especially on the busy Ghodbunder Road, which connects key routes leading to Gujarat, Navi Mumbai, Vasai-Virar, and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT).
