Neeraj Purohit who started his journey in the field of acting was hugely noticed in his short film Adheen that co starred sanjay mishra and anupriya goenka. The film got huge critical acclaim and his efforts got hugely recognised with the likes of Randeep Hooda and Zoya Akhtar showering praises.


The actor wanted to justify his passion for acting. Hence, to understand the nuances of the craft better he went on to join a theatre group. And started from ground level and worked with maby stalwarths. His efforts got recognised when he was called to audition for Ray a collection of Satyajit stories in which he stars alongside Ali fazal in the titled story #forgetmenot.


 


 

The actor has some good work in the pipeline from Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad  to Pippa to  another Netflix series. 

 

He signs off saying " Life has been good and i cannot complain. Truly i am here for the love of art. I come from an affluent business family which i look after too so the money has never been an issue by the  grace of god its the passion for acting that keeps me going. I believe the length of my role doesn’t determine anything, its the impact it makes is what makes a difference to me...so yes i have started with small roles but good ones at that and what is to come ahead is only better. Moving ahead From baby steps to walking to marathon. It’s happening.
