“I have had my stint as a waiter for nine months just to support my hobby, financially. It is very difficult for an amateur artist with no proper support and background to promote himself. I faced the same problem before putting up my first solo exhibition in Solapur, last year.

I had no money to put up a show,” says Ganer, adding that he needed Rs 20,000 for his first show, which he didn’t have initially.
“But a few people helped me a lot that time. Now I am excited about my second show that is happening in Pune,”
he shares.
The artist will be showcasing 18 abstract paintings, created in the acrylic medium.
Throwing light on his inspirations, Ganer reveals, “I am inspired by the sun and the moon and my ideas revolve around that. I like to connect the circle of life with these two objects.”
