Bigg Boss Week 6 Highlights: Salman scolds Nikki, Pavitra; Rahul Vaidya proposes to Disha Parmar
The Weekend Ka Vaar began with Salman Khan's vaar on the contestants as he played a personality test game. The contestants had to select the one contestant who they felt had multiple faces, following which they had to reveal their true faces to the audience. The selected contestant had to have a pop-up of their face fixed on their hairband. It turned out that Eijaz was the one, who most contestants believe was faking his personality. Nikki Tamboli and Pavitra Punya had to face Salman's wrath for their unacceptable behaviour in the week gone by. Holding up Nikki for her stance in the mask task, Salman Khan demeaned her action, schooling her that her self-respect was ultimately in her hand, and stooping low for the game had never helped anyone. Pavitra Punya was also reprimanded for her rowdy behaviour towards Eijaz, which logically didn't make sense to the host.
On Tuesday, Bigg Boss decided to shock the contestants with a very special round! Bigg Boss opened the doors to the Bigg Boss Ki Adalat! Filmmaker Farah Khan played the judge along with two leading journalists Amith Tyagi and Charrul Malik. The trio grilled the contestants on their performance so far in the house.
Jaan was the first in the dock when he was questioned about his game. He was clearly asked, was he Nikki's friend, or was he against her? Farah Khan clearly told him that he was confused about whether he wanted to play the game with his mind or with his heart.
When Kavita was questioned about how she felt about her conduct, she remained adamant. She refused to change her stance towards Eijaz.
When Rahul Vidya was in the dock, Farah Khan asked the housemates whether they felt his friendship with Nikki is genuine. Before the housemates could say anything Rahul himself confessed that he was playing a game and that he has no genuine feelings towards Nikki.
Next, Bigg Boss asked Rubina whether her friend Jasmin would agree that Aly was evicted to keep Rubina in the game. It seemed Jasmin and Aly were facing the toughest challenge ever, as their relationship with each other and their friendship with Rubina and Abhinav was put to test.
On Wednesday, Bigg Boss introduced a unique captaincy task where Pavitra Punia, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli and Rahul Vaidya locked horns for the title. As the task progressed, the contestants were seen strategizing their next move more carefully and making allies among each other.
Aly Goni who got offended by Nikki's comment had taken it upon his ego now and he wanted to become the next captain of the house. He made allies with Rahul Vaidya and took assurances from him to make Aly the next captain of the house. Seeing Aly and Rahul plan their moves, Pavitra got agitated and questioned Rahul's loyalties.
Pavitra could not stand the fact that Aly and Rahul, whom she considered as her friends, were plotting against her. She then decided to stand strong and alone to win the task. Even Shardul and Nikki were not happy with the fact that they were not even being considered in the race for captaincy.
In the end, Aly Goni became the new captain of the house. However, it was not that easy for him as Nikki Tamboli didn't accept the captaincy task result and said, "Mere liye ghar me abhi koi captain nhi hai (At present, for me, there is no captain in the house).
Now let's talk about the fights and romance. On Wednesday, Rahul and Eijaz got into an ugly fight on daily hygiene where Eijaz asked Rahul to not shave where they wash the dishes! Rahul stayed adamant and said that he will do as he chooses.
Aly Goni, who was staying in a secluded area in the house for over a week, lost his cool on Tuesday. Living apart from the contestant for so many days seemed to have taken a toll on him. He revolted and refused to wear a mic or even eat food! As Jasmin and the other contestants tried to pacify him and asked him to maintain his cool, Aly couldn’t handle the isolation. He got aggressive and threatened to break out of his glass isolation room!
Later in the day, Rahul Vaidya had a funny banter with Nikki. Admiring Jasmin and Aly's relations, he wished that he too could share such a bond with someone. Nikki got upset at this since she believed that she was that special someone for Rahul.
Nikki got emotional and cried, while Rahul was seen consoling consoles her and explained that he did not cared about her and felt for her. He consoled her and the two tried to iron out their differences.
Rahul Vaidya recently took everyone by surprise as he proposed to his lady love Disha Parmar. The singer got down on one knee and proposed to her rumoured girlfriend Disha Parmar. The other housemates were seen cheering him, while he asked Disha to marry him. Rahul was speaking about the special girl in his life, Disha Parmar, and saying that he was never been so nervous. He further said, "I don't understand why it took so long for me to say this to you, will you marry me?" Rahul Vaidya wore a t-shirt that says 'Marry me?' on the back.
The news overjoyed Rahul's mother Geeta Vaidya. In an interview, Geeta Vaidya said, "I am happy for him. His sudden proposal made me surprised as well but I am glad Disha is the one. She is an extremely sweet girl and I am fond of her. The rest I can't comment on or rather he can comment on only when he comes and we will sit and talk as family."
Rahul and Disha Parmar have been close friends for a couple of years now. Disha is an actress who is best known for her lead role as Pankhuri in the TV show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. Looking at the way things are going, are we looking at Disha's entry into the house very soon? Well, only time will tell.
Overall, we can say that the sixth week was about heated arguments, accusations, and fights. This week the contestants tried hard to sort their issues. The growing fight-and-love banter between the contestants also reached to a new level.
