Salman Khan hits back at those questioning him for romancing Rashmika

Since the time it was announced that Salman Khan would be romancing Rashmika Mandanna in his next action thriller Sikandar, several people had questions regarding the pairing, considering the 31-year age gap between the leads. Today, at the trailer launch of Sikandar, Salman Khan took a jibe at everyone questioning the pairing and slammed those who think there is any problem with him starring opposite Rashmika. At the grand trailer launch event of Sikandar, Salman Khan reacted to the questions surrounding Rashmika being cast opposite him in the action thriller and said, "They say there is a 31-year difference between the heroine and me. If the heroine doesn't have any problem or the heroine's father doesn't have any problem, then why do you have a problem?" "And when she gets married and has a daughter, and then she becomes a big star, then also we will work. We will get the mother's permission for sure," the superstar added. Further, Salman also praised Rashmika and revealed how, even after breaking her leg, she didn't cancel her shoots. He said,  "She has given her best. She used to finish shooting Pushpa 2 at 7 pm and would join us at 9 pm, and would work till 6:30 in the morning and go back to work on Pushpa 2. Then, after breaking her leg, she continued shooting with us and didn't cancel a single day of shoot. She reminds me a lot of a younger me." About Sikandar's trailer The trailer opens in a police station with posters of Salman Khan along with "Wanted" written on them. Sikandar's connection to Aamir

Salman Khan's Sikandar has THIS connection with Aamir Khan's Ghajini

A few days back, A.R. Murugadoss, in one of his interviews, said that Sikandar will have a surprise element just like Ghajini. But now, as the trailer of the film has been released, we have realized that Sikandar also has a Ghajini connection. Just like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan's character name in the film is also Sanjay. Yes, if you haven't realized that, go back to the trailer and check what Rashmika's character says to Sikandar. In the trailer, when Rashmika and Salman are enjoying a car ride, the actress can be seen saying, "Log tumhe alag alag naam se bulate hain, koi Raja Sahab, koi Sanjay Sahab aur koi Sikandar Sahab, but I like Sanjay haan." While talking about Sikandar and Ghajini, the director once said, "This is not only a mass film; it has very strong family emotions. Ghajini was about a boyfriend-girlfriend love story, but this is about a husband-wife relationship. It explores how families function today, how couples treat each other, and what we might be missing in our relationships. That will be a highlight of the film. Though Ghajini seemed to be a psycho thriller to the audience, the love story of Aamir and Asin was the surprise element. Similarly, here there’s an element of love that will move the audience." Sikandar trailer out The trailer immediately grabs attention with high-octane action sequences, nerve-wracking dialogues, and vibrant, colourful dance numbers. But it’s Salman Khan’s screen presence that truly steals the show. Salman’s portrayal of Sikandar is as raw as it is powerful. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna shines in the trailer, captivating audiences with her effortless charm. While action, drama, and intense scenes are all there in this three-minute-long trailer, it still leaves you with a question mark about ‘what the story is?’ Ghajini 2 update Filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss has sparked excitement among fans by sharing an update on the speculated sequel to his blockbuster film, the Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini (2008). Aamir’s character from the movie made waves with his tattoos and signature haircut, and it seems we might see the trend coming back soon. In a recent interview, the director revealed, "We have some ideas" for Ghajini 2, but noted that everyone is currently busy with their respective projects. He also confirmed meeting Aamir to discuss the project, stating, "We discussed something on the sets of Sitaare Zameen Par, and we are in touch on the phone." Notably, Murugadoss had initially rejected the idea of making a sequel in 2023.

Showik's story for Rhea

Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik reacts to CBI’s report in Sushant’s death case

After five years of a long legal battle, Rhea Chakraborty has finally gotten a clean chit from the CBI in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. After the actress received relief from the authorities, her brother Showik, whose name was also involved in the case, reacted to the CBI's report. Both Rhea and her brother, Showik Chakraborty, were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case related to Sushant. Now, after the report has come out, Showik took to Instagram and shared a picture with Rhea. Showik reacts to CBI report While taking to his Instagram, Showik shared a picture of himself with Rhea. In the snap, the brother and sister can be seen walking toward the mountains. While sharing this picture, he attached it with a heartfelt message that reads, ‘Satyamev Jayate 🙏.’ It translates to: "Truth alone triumphs." Rhea's lawyer reacts to CBI report According to a report by PTI, Satish Maneshinde said the amount of "false narrative in social media and electronic media was totally uncalled for." "Due to the (Covid) pandemic, everyone was glued to the television and social media in the absence of anything happening in the country. Innocent people were hounded and paraded before the media and investigative authorities," the statement said. "Rhea Chakraborty had to undergo untold miseries and was behind bars for 27 days before being released on bail," he said. What was the case about The CBI investigated two separate cases — one filed by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, with Patna Police, accusing Chakraborty of abetment to suicide and siphoning off ₹15 crore from the actor's accounts; and the second filed by Chakraborty in Bandra, accusing Rajput's sisters of giving medicines to him based on a bogus prescription issued by a Delhi doctor. The CBI concluded there was no material to support the allegations that anyone could have driven the actor to suicide, the officials said. The agency finally decided to file its final reports, bringing to rest five years of conspiracy theories surrounding the death of the Bollywood star, they said. Rhea Chakraborty’s work front On the work front, Rhea was last seen in Rumy Jafry's film Chehre, which was released in 2021. After struggling for a while, she became one of the gang leaders on Roadies Season 19. Aamir Khan reveals one mistake he made in Dangal which Amitabh Bachchan noticed

Bollywood star Aamir Khan says he considers "Dangal", the blockbuster 2016 sports drama, the finest film of his career, even though there was a single shot where he slipped out of character. The actor, who played the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in the Nitesh Tiwari-directed movie, said it was megastar Amitabh Bachchan who immediately noticed the flaw in his performance. "It is difficult for me to say which is my favourite film. 'Dangal' is my best-acted film. There is only one shot in the film, which I did wrong, and Mr Amitabh Bachchan is so sharp that he got that shot. I asked him, 'How did you find the film?' and he said, 'Very good but in one shot you were out of character.' "The particular scene is during one of the wrestling sequences in the film I get up and say, 'yes', so that shot I got wrong because the character of Mahavir Phogat can never say yes. He could've said, 'waah' or 'shabhash' because 'yes' is a very English or Mumbai thing. That didn't get cleared in editing. So, in every film I've done something wrong, no film's perfect," Aamir said. Aamir was speaking last evening at the Red Lorry Film Festival, where his 1988 film, "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak" was screened. "Dangal" was based on the inspiring story of Phogat, who taught wrestling to his two daughters --Geeta and Babita (played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra). Geeta eventually won the gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The film, which also featured Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar, Sakshi Tanwar and Aparshakti Khurana, is the highest grossing Indian film with a reported earnings around Rs 2,000 crore. She added, "The actress herself designed the iconic costumes." Next, she wrote, "Her green outfit with pure gold embroidery is still remembered by her fans." Meena Kumari. Picture Courtesy/Kangana Ranaut's Instagram account Kangana shared, "Her outfit reflected her deep understanding of the character." She concluded by saying, "She personally curated her looks & sourced her jewellery." Kangana further raised a very crucial point regarding how our society is accustomed to objectifying women, completely ignoring their intellect. The "Emergency" actress shared, "Do we know this? Also, do we know that she was a great poet and a lyricist as well? A beautiful woman's genius is always undermined, so that she can be easily sexualised and never intellectualised." Talking about her professional commitments, Kangana will next be a part of an untitled drama, opposite R Madhavan. Touted to be a thriller, the film has been helmed by AL Vijay. This yet-to-be-titled project marks Kangana and R Madhavan's on-screen reunion after the 2015 blockbuster, "Tanu Weds Manu Returns". The team has already concluded the shoot for the movie. Announced back in 2023, the pan-India project is expected to be released in both Hindi and Tamil. The drama will feature music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Further details about the storyline and title have been kept under wraps for now. In addition to this, Kangana's lineup also includes the much-awaited sequel to her 2019 film "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi", titled "The Legend of Didda". Moreover, she also has the patriotic drama "Bharat Bhagya Vidhata" in her kitty. Over and above this, Kangana will also star in Alaukik Desai's "Sita: The Incarnation". Aamir Khan with Reena Dutta Pic/AFP

Aamir Khan drank a bottle of alcohol every day for 1.5 years after 1st divorce

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who has found love once again after two failed marriages, recalled the aftermath of his divorce with his first wife Reena Dutta. Aamir and Reena Dutta got married on April 18, 1986. Reena also had a small part in Aamir’s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. They have two children, a son named Junaid and a daughter, Ira. Reena was involved briefly in Aamir’s career when she worked as an executive producer for the actor’s Oscar-nominated film Lagaan. In December 2002, he filed for divorce and took custody of both children. Aamir went into deep depression  In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Aamir shared, “When Reena and I broke, I was in mourning for almost 2-3 years. I wasn’t working or listening to scripts. I was alone at home, and for almost 1.5 years, I drank a lot. You will be shocked to know that I was a teetotaler. After the split up, I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t sleep at night, and I started drinking. From someone who didn’t drink at all, I went to being someone who drank an entire bottle in a day. I was like Devdas, someone who is trying to destroy themselves. I did that for 1.5 years. I was in a deep depression.”  While Aamir is back to being a teetotaler he asserted that one needs to confront their losses and come to terms with reality. He added, “Accept that what was once yours is not there now. Also accept how good it was for you when it was there, and how much you will miss it when it isn’t there anymore.” Aamir Khan dating Gauri Spratt After his divorce with Reena, Aamir married director Kiran Rao in 2005 and separated in 2021. They continue to co-parent their son, Azad. On his 60th birthday earlier this month, Aamir confirmed his relationship with Gauri Spratt. The two have been friends for over two decades and reconnected only recently, over a year ago. Gauri, who is half Tamilian and half Irish, is a mother to a six-year-old boy. She hails from Bangalore and is now working with Aamir at Aamir Khan Productions. She has also met the actor’s family and they are “happy” about their relationship.
