Nevedita Kharbanda won the title of Marvelous Mrs India Photogenic, season 2 in October 2024. The pageant was hosted in the city of lakes, Udaipur. Nevedita was crowned by Dr. Aditi Govitrikar, who is India's first Mrs World, Harvard-trained psychologist & the Director of Marvelous Mrs India Pageant.

The show had an esteemed panel of judges for MMI season 2, Celebrity judge Bollywood actress Neelam Kothari and esteemed Chief guest Nivritti Kumari Mewar, the Princess Consort of Udaipur (Maharaj Kunwarani of Udaipur).
Nevedita is a postgraduate in English literature, she graduated from Lady Shri Ram college, New Delhi. She is a soft skill trainer, fitness enthusiast, foodie, Marvelous Mrs India photogenic and the author of the culinary book’ Deja Vu with Food’.
The book was launched at MMI season 2 by Dr. Aditi Govitrikar. Nevedita's culinary book 'Deja vu with food’ is a memoir of her personal journey of triumph in winning a beauty pageant and an ode to the cherished cuisine of her family, especially her grandmother’s kitchen.The book has rich & vivid culinary flavour from the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a charming read with some little-known & innovative recipes. The book was displayed at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025, which was organised by the National Book Trust of India.The book is available on Amazon India, US & UK.
The book is a journey from food to heels. Nayanika Chatterjee, a supermodel & International pageant ramp walk trainer, was the mentor for ramp walk for MMI season 2.
The book is written, compiled & designed by Nevedita. The creation of this book helped her learn the art of food styling & food photography. Nevedita’s journey with food began at an early age.
Nevedita is married to Ashish Kharbanda ,working as an Associate Director in a Beverage company. She is a mother to a nine year old son Neil. She gives credit for her accomplishments to the most progressive husband & son who have always supported her rock solid. Her father Late shri Vijay Kumar was the most progressive dad & mother who believes in child's education to be of the utmost importance to shape up a better future.
Nevedita believes education is the most important thing & believes in the motto of her college ‘sa vidya ya vimuktaya’ which means it is truly education that liberates.
Having lived in different states of India & traveled across a few countries, has influenced her a lot to connect with Indian food.
Nevedita wants to leave all her family recipes as a legacy to her son & future generations.
