Dutt, who in February completed his five-year jail term in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, was supposed to start shooting for Anand's action drama this summer.

The 56-year-old actor, however, says Anand needs more preparation time for the movie so he is going ahead with another project.

"Siddharth has asked more preparation time for the movie as it involves complex action scenes. He is the captain of the ship and its not wise to hurry him into the shooting process. So in all probability we will be going ahead with another film of mine first," Dutt said in a statement.

The filmstar, in an earlier interview, revealed he has signed producer friend Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film, which is an emotional father-daughter story. Dutt has reportedly also signed "Sardaar Ji" fame director Rohit Jugraj Chauhan's next.

It is, however, not known yet which movie Dutt is set to begin filming.

The "Munna Bhai MBBS" star is apparently currently focusing on his physique and workout regime as he wants to be fit and doesn't miss any of his workout sessions.
