He was rushed to a hospital where he underwent surgery yesterday. The actor had been in pain for the last few days, but he ignored it to complete the shoot on time. Unit sources state that Sultan co-star Salman Khan, after seeing his condition, told him to get admitted in a hospital. Randeep plays Salman’s coach in the film.

Randeep continued to shoot by popping painkillers, but there was no relief for him. The actor has had a hectic schedule of late with the promotions of his film, Laal Rang, which releases this week besides his commitments of his other project, Sarbjit. He also had to attend events of the Mumbai fire brigade after he was recently appointed as its brand ambassador. For some time now, Randeep will be unavailable for the promotions of his film Laal Rang as well as for the shoot of Sultan. Coincidentally, he was also undergoing a lot of physical changes for his upcoming film, Sarbjit.
