Akki donated a cheque of six lakhs for treatment of ailing actor, Vallabh Vyas
Akshay Kumar has a generous side. Recently, the actor sent across a cheque of six lakh to Vallabh Vyas, who has did bit parts in Lagaan and Chandni Bar.
Sources reveal that even though Akshay doesn't personally know Vallabh, he heard about his illness and decided to help him out financially.

While shooting with him recently, Joshi mentioned his efforts to raise funds for Vallabh's surgery, and the actor enquired what was the total amount needed.
When he learned it was six lakhs, Akki immediately signed a cheque for the entire amount and gave it to him."

Akshay was saddened that no one else came forward to help a member of the film industry.

Says a source present on the sets, "This isn't the first time Akshay has donated such a lavish amount. Heu00a0 likes to keep his good acts under wraps.
However, since it was such a big amount, Vallabh's family and friends are talking about it, and now a lot of people know of his big-hearted gesture."
