'Shaitan' actress says the Hindi film industry has taught her the importance of never giving up on films
After being noticed for her performance in Bejoy Nambiar’s Shaitan (2011), Kirti Kulhari almost vanished from the limelight. The starlet didn’t have a single release last year. Summing up her experience so far, Kirti humbly states that patience is something Bollywood has taught her.

Being someone who started her career with TV commercials, the actress was the face of several ad campaigns. “I started with a bang with so many brands on the platter. I got to share the small screen space with the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Kajol. Comparatively, big screen transition has been a task though I haven’t given up yet. You can work hard and hope for the best. Bollywood has a way of teaching you patience,” smiles the B-Town newbie.
With her zombie film hitting the marquee this week, the 27-year-old actress is also looking forward to three more films lined up for 2013. “Personally, I feel growth is slow in terms of the number of films I’ve been part of and those that have actually seen the light of day. Whatever be the outcome, I have done it on my own so I’m quite proud of myself. I wish to continue acting as long as I love the art,” signs off Kirti.u00a0
