Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan's wife Ayesha seems to be missing her husband as he was away playing in the second ODI at Pune v New Zealand. Yesterday, she posted this picture on Instagram and captioned it: "Missing him @shikhardofficial," followed by heart emojis.

Shikhar Dhawan is currently part of the Indian cricket team that is playing New Zealand in an ODI and T20I series. Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha have a son named Zoravar.

Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee were married in 2012.

Facing a must-win situation following the defeat in Mumbai on Sunday, Team India came up with an excellent all-round performance on a slowish track to restrict Kiwis to a modest 230 for nine. Riding on half-centuries from Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik, the hosts then chased down the target with minimum fuss to make it a one-sided contest all the way. The series will now be decided in Kanpur on October 29.
