Extremely sad to hear about Shashiji. He has been a fabulous colleague and a good friend. I cherish working with him in Abhinetri, which was my second film after I made my debut with Raj saab. I have worked with him in many films, including Trishul which was a hit. I remember him as one of the most cheerful and energetic persons. I pray for his soul and my deepest condolences to his family members. - Hema Malini
Hema Malini
It is the saddest day of my life. I owe my career to Shashiji. I am grateful to him for giving me my first break as lead in Utsav. He was the most handsome man in the industry. He was a gentleman, a great actor and a passionate producer. I grew up imitating him and trying to look like him. I can't bear the thought that he is no more. I'm heartbroken. - Shekhar Suman
Shekhar Suman
I worked with him in Gautam Govinda and Krodhi. I learnt work ethics, discipline, time planning and compassion from him. He would be humble to all and above all his love and passion for good cinema and theatre development in India. He was a handsome gentleman with a beautiful mind and heart. An inspiring institute himself. - Subhash Ghai
