Actor Rahul Bhat, whose film 'Ugly' was screened and appreciated at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, says it was a dream come true to walk the red carpet at the prestigious cinema event
"It is a dream come true. The feeling hasn't sunk in yet. It was a proud moment for me as a Kashmiri actor to walk the red carpet at Cannes," Rahul said in an interview.

The actor plays the role of a distraught father looking for his missing girl in 'Ugly'. The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap and also stars Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Surveen Chawla, Vineet Kumar Singh and Girish Kulkarni.
'Ugly''was screened on May 19 at the festival and received a standing ovation. Produced by DAR Motion Pictures and Phantom, the movie has already garnered a lot of media attention and is considered to be one of the most awaited releases of the year.
Rahul is probably the first Kashmiri actor to walk down the red carpet at Cannes film festival. The actor started his career with TV serial 'Heena' and then went on to do movies like 'Yeh Mohabbat Hai' and 'Nayee Padosan'.
He then took a break from acting and started his own production house called 'Film Tonic', which produced TV shows like 'Meri Doli Tere Angna', 'Choo Kar Nere Mann Ko' and 'Tum Dena Saath Mera'.
