Hemant Birje, best remembered for his film 'Adventures of Tarzan', is not new to controversies. In April 2012, he was in news for allegedly abusing his daughter and battering his wife and later in the same year was involved in a drunken brawl with friends (Read more). Now, we have learnt that on Tuesday the actor was thrown out of the house he was illegally living in.

Says a source, "Hemant lived in Castle Towers, Oshiwara. His contract with the house owner had expired and despite being requested to vacate the house repeatedly, he refused to budge. Helpless, the owner filed a case against him and on Tuesday the court asked police to get the place vacated."
Senior police inspector Subhash Khanvilkar from Oshiwara police station confirms the news and adds, "It was a civil matter. Hemant Birje followed our orders and vacated the flat without resistance."
Hemant Birje remained unavailable for comment.
