England football legend David Beckham is a step closer to fulfilling his dream project - building a 25,000-seater stadium for his Miami Beckham United football team.
The former England captain has acquired a plot of land and has also received approvals from Miami-Dade county to build on the three-acre property in Overtown bought at $9 million. “By purchasing the last piece of land needed for our privately-funded stadium, Miami Beckham United is achieving another milestone on the way to MLS awarding Miami a franchise,” said a statement from MBU said.
