'CID' producer BP Singh's son Salil Singh dies of heart attack

'CID' producer BP Singh's elder son, Salil Singh, passed away on Wednesday. According to reports, Salil Singh was shooting with his wife in Mira Road, Mumbai for an episode of 'Savdhaan India' when he suffered a heart attack

'CID' producer BP Singh's son Salil Singh dies of heart attack

'CID' producer BP Singh's elder son, Salil Singh, passed away on Wednesday. According to reports, Salil Singh was shooting with his wife in Mira Road, Mumbai for an episode of 'Savdhaan India' when he suffered a heart attack. He was declared dead when taken to the hospital.

Indianexpress.com quoted a source as saying, "Salil Singh was shooting for Savdhan India and during the break he excused himself to use the washroom. When he did not return, people went to check and found him lying down on the ground. When he was rushed to the hospital, it was found he suffered a massive heart attack."


Salil Singh and his father BP Singh have been intrumental in the success of TV show 'CID', which has been airing on television for over a decade now. The show features Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Srivastav as Senior Inspector Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty as Senior Inspector Daya, Dinesh Phadnis as Inspector Fredricks and Narendra Gupta as Dr RP Salunkhe.
