His entry into the show follows Gurdeep’s dramatic entry as a terrorist in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'. The duo has earlier worked together in 'Sanjeevani' and 'Arjun' apart from featuring with one another in 'Nach Baliye'.

Arjun Punj will do a cameo as an officer from the Anti-Terrorist Squad.

Talking about his role, he said in a statement, “I play the character of Arjun Chaudhary in the show. He is a negotiator from the Government of India who talks to the hijackers, primarily Maya (Gurdeep). Arjun is a smooth talker, calm and knows how to talk his way through. He is non-hyper and an expert; is also known to be the best in the job," he said.

How's the experience of working with his wife? "We last worked together for an episodic on 'Arjun'. 'Sanjeevani' was our last show together where I played the negative guy and she was the positive one. It is the reverse now. It is always a pleasure to be working with Gurdeep," he said.
