Day 1: Anand Varma
So what if you can’t get what a mind-sucking parasite does? Varma will explain it all. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Varma got a job at an aquarium at age 14 because all he wanted to do was live around marine life.

Photographer
A student of biology at the University of California, Berkeley, when he became a photographer, he decided to tell the stories of intriguing creatures like the bumble bee and a mind-sucking parasite.
His National Geographic Young Explorer grant to document the wetlands of Patagonia, got him to wander temperate rainforests and arid steppes where he met wildlife as diverse as painted tree lizards, and a strange predatory spider called the harvestman!
Day 2: Karuna Gopal
If you live in a crowded, overflowing city like Mumbai, you know why we need it to be a “smart city”. Gopal knows a thing or two about getting there.
Founder President, Foundation for Futuristic Cities
She has contributed to the 100 Smart Cities Mission of the government of India, and was voted one of the 50 most talented green leaders by the world Corporate Social Responsibility Congress.
Her aim is to use technology to find solutions to problems of traffic, water consumption and crime.
Day 3: Ronojoy Adhikari
Will machines take over the world? Adhikari may have the answer to that. His research is focused on designing algorithms that make machines mimic human intelligence.
Scientist
The recipient of the Faculty Research Award from Google Inc and the DAE-SRC Outstanding Investigator Award from the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, he has even extensively researched the Indus civilisation script.
