4.45 pm: Ever wondered if the pushpaka vimana was actually an ancient flying saucer? Get answers at Katha Project’s talk, Mythical Imaginations by Dr Ranjit Nair, a PhD in artificial intelligence and a sci-fi buff. Delving into the power of human imagination, he will attempt to separate fact from fiction when it comes to concepts like cloning, nuclear tech and flying vessels as described in mythology.

Attend a kitty party

Chef Vivek Kadam has put together a menu at inhouse confectionary, Gourmet Store. Dig into palatschinken, crepes with apricot jam and raisin ice cream; kaiserschmarrn, an Austrian pancake with plum compote; and apfelstrudel, a traditional Viennese strudel with vanilla ice-cream. There’s also sacher torte invented by Austrian Franz Sacher in 1832.

Celebrate Navroze
6.30 pm: Chef Kiran Salaskar has created two special desserts for Parsi New Year. The first one is White chocolate and hazelnut ni boi. Traditionally, it is made mawa and khoya in the shape of a fish. COO’s boi is a caramalised white chocolate and hazelnut cake with varq. The second, is Ravo, a semolina-based authentic sweet with rava, rose water, raisins, almond slivers, saffron and ghee.

8 pm: Watch The Owl And The Pussycat in which Dimpy and Tanmay, played by Preeti Gupta and Deepal Doshi, delude themselves into believing they are something else — she, a much sought-after actress/model instead of a prostitute, and he, a self-styled intellectual rather than clerk at a bookstore. When the two meet, they fall in love. The plot unmasks their identities towards a hilarious, heartwarming end.
